Chinese Pulse Diagnosis Part II

By greg - Posted on 17 April 2009

There are certain characteristics of a person's pulse that can reveal conditions of their health and wellbeing. These characteristics may be subtle but there are basic signs that anyone can identify, treatment is more advanced and you should consult an expert physician.

A strong or pounding pulse suggests an excess of heat in the body. When there is a heat condition present the arteries tend to swell and feel wider, jump harder, or seem stronger externally. A deficiency condition tends to display symptoms of weaker pulse which may feel softer. This condition can feel less broad and may even disappear with external physical pressure. In the case of a deficiency condition, a patient may experience increased fatigue and an overall cold or chill of the body.

Pulse diagnosis is very helpful for obtaining a more accurate diagnosis for chiropractic treatment and lifestyle adjustment.
